Congressman Zach Wamp announced the 2004 Service Academy appointees. Each year Rep. Wamp nominates exemplary high school students from Tennessee's Third Congressional district to the nation's service academies, including the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, and U.S. Air Force Academy.
"Students who attend our nation's service academies represent the 'best of the best' and these young people are no exception. They each have top-notch grades, incredible extracurricular activities and hold many leadership positions," said Congressman Wamp. "I am honored to nominate these outstanding individuals and thank each of them for choosing to serve their country."
This year's appointees include:
