Albert Love Harden was born on June 20, 1945, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to John and Cora Harden. Albert departed this life on April 20, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John and Howard; sisters, Margaret, Georgia, and Andrea.

Albert was a member of First Baptist Church of Ooltewah, Tn. He attended Booker T. Washington High School. He was in the military where he served in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed telling stories about his experiences. He worked at Mueller Company and retired after 24 years of service.

Albert enjoyed traveling, all sports, and his favorite hobby was hanging out with his friends at Christy’s, BFW, and YAK.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Joy Lynn of almost 60 years; devoted daughter, Tannie Lynn; sisters Earnestine of Chattanooga, Wendy of Indiana, and Annie Bell of Ohio; brothers, Harold (Mattie) and Orlanda both of Chattanooga; sisters-in-law, Gloria and Reba; brother-in-law, Sandford (Delphia) Stone; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public viewing will be held from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Monday, April 29, followed by a noon service in the chapel of the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery, gate time 1:30 p.m.
