Jamaal Levar Pointer
Jamaal Levar Pointer, born on October 31, 1980, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, peacefully passed away on April 24, 2024.
He was a beloved son, nephew, and cousin who will be deeply missed. Jamaal was known for his vibrant personality and warm sense of humor. He had a natural gift for making others laugh and was always ready with a joke to brighten someone's day. His infectious laughter and smile will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Jamaal was preceded in death by his father, Euclish (Jesse) T. Pointer.
Jamaal is survived by his mother and aunt, Linda H. Pointer and Gwendolyn H. Terrell or as Jamaal would call them, his earth angels.
Jamaal’s mother, Linda H. Pointer, cherished him deeply. Their bond was unbreakable, and he found comfort and strength in her love and support. Jamaal's mother was the guiding light in his life, and he embraced every opportunity to show his gratitude and make her proud. Jamaal also leaves to cherish his memory, his cousins, James C. Terrell III, Angela D. Silvels, LaToya M. Terrell, Chyna M. Terrell, and Indya D. Terrell. Jamaal will forever be cherished by his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and a reminder to hold our loved ones close. Though he may no longer be present, his spirit will continue to live on, eternally impacting the lives of those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
