Hamilton’s Sandy McKenzie Promoted To President, CEO Of Hamilton Medical Center

Hamilton Health Care System’s Sandy McKenzie has been promoted to president and chief executive officer of Hamilton Medical Center, the flagship hospital of Hamilton Health Care System. In addition to her new role, Ms. McKenzie will continue to have operational oversight of HHCS affiliates.

Ms. McKenzie has been a key leader at Hamilton for nearly 18 years in various roles, including chief operating officer (COO), executive vice president, and most recently, president of operations for HHCS.

“Sandy is a devoted leader, providing keen guidance and direction as the hospital treats more individuals each year, achieves industry-leading quality metrics and provides top-notch care for our community,” said Jeff Myers, president and CEO of HHCS.

Mr. Myers will continue as president and CEO of HHCS, overseeing the organization’s overall enterprise as well as the acquisition of Tennova Healthcare – Cleveland, which is still under regulatory review.
