With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we bid farewell to Peter Duffy. He passed away on May 2, 2024, at the age of 79. Peter was a 1962 graduate of Baylor and attended MTSU. He was an avid tennis player, golfer and achieved the title of professional pool shark.

He was preceded in death by his parents Owen and Zenora Duffy, his sister, Jean Parker, and his brother Michael Duffy. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Pam Duffy; sisters, Karen Duffy Kromer (Ted), Alison Duffy and Laura Duffy Moore. He will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family expresses a heartfelt thank you to Hearth Hospice, LaQuetta Duckworth and Isella Castro as well as the staff of Solomons House, who made him comfortable during his final time with us.

Peter was a true force of nature, known for his passion for cars, colorful language, and a discerning palate. Born on Aug. 22, 1944, Peter lived a life filled with adventure, laughter, and a zest for the finer things in life. From his earliest days, he had a love affair with automobiles that knew no bounds. He could often be found tinkering under the hood, storing auto parts throughout the home, participating in auto shows or racing his cars. His trophy and magazine collection could fill a wing in a museum.

Peter was renowned for his uncanny ability to curse with the creativity of a seasoned wordsmith. He had an exceptional talent for crafting curses that were as inventive as they were entertaining, and his expletive-laden rants were the stuff of legend. This skill was handy while executing pranks on unsuspecting victims.

He approached cooking and dining with the same passion and intensity that he approached everything else in life, seeking out unique dining experiences from high dollar to hole-in-the wall restaurants throughout their travels.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your favorite charity. Please do not donate to Biden or the democratic party.

Race in peace, dear Peter. You lived your life to the fullest, embracing every moment with enthusiasm, humor, and the unbridled passion for the things you loved the most. May your engines roar, your curses echo, and your meals be forever delicious in the great beyond.
